Newborn Session FAQ'S

All you have to do is get in touch with Heather Ray Photography and provide us with your due date and we will put you on the books! Just that easy!

I take them at my studio in Denham Springs, La.

Within the first two weeks of birth. I shoot newborns Tuesday-Thursday at 10am.

 Sessions usually run around 2 hours.

You pay in full the day of your session.

We will do 5 sets. If you are doing family pictures they will take the place of one set and you will have 4 remaining sets to pick. Please view the images at the bottom of the page to get an idea of what a family session and four sets looks like:) 

Yes!!! I sure do! The majority of the props you see in my images are mine:) If you are unsure just send me a screenshot and I can let you know if it's not mine:)

Of course! I encourage you to pack along anything sentimental that you would like to incorporate in your images:)

I love inspiration photos! We will do our best to achieve the same "idea" as your requested images in Heather Ray Photography style:)

Have no fear, Heather Ray is here!!!! Babies fuss, babies pee, babies poop, babies get hungry........it's all a part of being a sweet and precious tiny baby! We will take all the time we need to soothe, feed, and clean them up:) We are BIG fans of babies and we love EVERY cute thing they do!

You sure do! A proofing gallery will be sent to you within 48 hours of your session. We do ask that you pick your images the same day the gallery is sent to insure your images are edited promptly:)

That's great! Additional images can be purchased at $10/image during the proofing process.

Editing takes no longer than a week, usually less! Then your CD will be mailed to you! You may also request to have your images send to you via Dropbox.
